Pop’s newest sensation Kesha finds splashing the cash “gross” – because she was once so poor she had to sell her clothes to eat.

The “TiK ToK” hitmaker grew up as the daughter of a struggling songwriter, and wasn’t even paid for her first big break in which she provided the main backing vocals on Flo Rida’s huge hit “Right Round.”

And now she’s coming into money following the success of her debut album “Animal,” the star insists she has no plans to live lavishly – because the memories of being poor are still raw.
